The BOCO Boutique team was so thrilled to once again be recognised by Booking.com as one of Malta’s top boutique
Take a stroll through the historic streets of Cospicua and The Three Cities, enjoying a variety of restaurants and cafés set along the waterfront and yacht marina. This area is relatively unspoilt from urban development happening in other parts of Malta, and one can meander through the picturesque alleyways where time goes at a more sedate pace. Several centuries older than Valletta, this is where history itself was battled and written, an ideal stepping stone to explore the many archaeological and cultural attractions in the area.

Posted on geordieboy16/12/2025Verified A little gem I'd like to share my experience of this wonderful little hotel. Quite simply, the place just couldn't be any better. The owner has done an incredible amount of work to make it as charming, homely and welcoming as it could possibly be - everywhere you look, you see nice little touches that make the place special. If like me you hate the soulless atmosphere of chain hotels, this place is just ideal. Tony, the manager, is just about the nicest person I can ever remember meeting, and he and his staff just can't do enough for their guests. It was one of the best hotel stays I've ever had, and if I should visit Malta again, it'll be my first choice.Posted on Carol H09/12/2025Verified Hidden Gem of a boutique hotel We absolutely loved our 2 week stay at Boco. We were in room 545 which has amazing views to the harbour from the large terrace. There is also a roof top terrace which includes a great honesty bar. Breakfast is served on the lower level where the lovely Shanaia pours coffee and cooks eggs - as well as many other items to choose from. The hotel is full of interesting art works. Tony is the best host - so informative and helpful, even arranged impromptu drinks one evening on the roof terrace for the guests that were staying - a lovely chance to chat with people from different walks of life. The area around Conspicua and Birgu (about 7 mins walk) is so interesting - lots of quaint streets and numerous restaurants and bars within a 10/15 min walk - our favourites were ‘Del Borgo’ ( atmospheric wine bar/ restaurant and ‘Enchante’ (Tony’s recommendation) - again Tony is great at recommendations for things to do and see as well as nightlife. This is the third time my partner and I have been to Malta and we far prefer staying in Three Cities - it is less manic than Valletta and far more authentic but easy to get wherever you want to go. I would not hesitate Boco - a really great little gem.Posted on MARIA C04/12/2025Verified Excellent and highly recommended. Beautiful hotel, lovely, lovely owner, who went over and beyond to help us ensure we had a pleasant stay. Highly recommend this hotel. Lots of lovely architecture and Tony will give you good recommendations of where to visit, the history and where to eat. Thank you. Posted on JOSO_11101/12/2025Verified We will be back :) We had a wonderful stay in this very special hotel - the room was very nice and clean with a comfy bed and modern bathroom. The roof terrace offers stunning views and a self-service fridge incl. many wines and snacks. Tony is a great guy, looks after his guests in a very kind and supportive manner! We loved the location, very charming area.Posted on Byron P24/11/2025Verified Great for Tourists! BOCO Boutique Hotel is, in our opinion, a charming B & B type hotel. It is conveniently located in the old scenic section of town overlooking the bay, close to a landmark church, the ferry landing, and restaurants. The rooms are small but spotless. The "penthouse commons" area has a well-stocked honor bar, and a spectacular view. Tony, the owner, is welcoming, personable, and does all he can to assist in making your stay perfect. Breakfast is Mediterranean in style, and delicious. Recommended!!!Posted on peadar o23/11/2025Verified A relaxing pleasant experience The location is very central , you can walk to many of the sights and one gets a feeling of the area around. There’s a lovely warm vibe about the house, it’s beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean and one has the feeling of warmth and interest in you a warmth which is sincere. I had dietary needs and that wasn’t a problem all I needed was there for breakfast and Shanaia was on hand in the morning to see I was ok at breakfast and I had everything I needed. Tony Shanaia and Josianne work as a team to make all guests needs are looked after . There’s a rooftop sun lounge , with chairs etc and barbecue and small pool looking over the whole of the local area which is relaxing and calm. We enjoyed our stay much and look forward to returning to experience of being a v important guest and where you enjoy being a member of the family for a while. A very sincere thanks for a really pleasant experience, Peadar and MaryPosted on Philippa G14/11/2025Verified A real gem I had a wonderful week’s stay at Boco Boutique Hotel. We had an amazing time at BOCO. First of all, it is located in a wonderful residential neighbourhood, filled with traditional houses. You can also find pretty easy a free... read more parking spot nearby. Also, it's a 10 minutes walk towards the fast ferry to Valletta (a must do). The hotel’s building is traditional, so you can enjoy a proper local experience (plus even your own traditional Maltese balcony ) and the interior is packed with artsy decorations that create a sophisticate style. Tony, the owner, was the perfect host - always nearby and made sure that we have a lovely stay at the hotel, helping us with anything that we needed: from restaurant recommendations, tips for places to visit and even sunscreen :). The breakfast selection was good and the kitchen personnel were very friendly and communicative. You could even take your breakfast upstairs, at the loft, and enjoy a magnificent view. We recommend also spending at least one evening on the terrace, drinking a prosecco that you can grab by yourself from the fridge. The entire concept of BOCO is based on friendship, so you will definitely feel like visiting an old friend. We will most certainly return for another vacation at BOCO Boutique Hotel. More
